The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare aims to "guarantee and improve people's lives" and "economic development" by improving and promoting social welfare, social security, and public health, improving the working environment, stabilizing employment, and developing human resources. We will promote this in a comprehensive and integrated manner. We will also promote social security and labor policies in an integrated manner in response to issues such as the declining birthrate and aging population, gender equality, and changes in the economic structure.

Even if a person develops dementia or becomes a caregiver, their dignity as a person must be protected and they must be able to continue their daily lives in peace. The Association for People with Dementia and Their Families hopes to encourage and help each other to lead fulfilling lives as people, and to create a society where people can live with peace of mind even with dementia.
