Just like the changing seasons, we are born into this world and live out our lives to the fullest, and for everyone, the "end" always comes. There are many ways to meet the ``end'', and one option is ``death with dignity.'' In Canada, it is recognized as voluntary MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying). However, unless you have someone close to you who chooses it, it may not be an option that you are familiar with.

The freedom to choose how to meet one's "ends" is the freedom to choose how one lives one's life.

This is a good opportunity to learn more about the MAiD system. Do not miss it.

“A choice at the end of life: About Canada’s Death with Dignity (MAiD)”

Overview:

MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying) was legalized in Canada in 2016 as a way to decide your final moments according to your wishes. Among them, British Columbia is the province with the highest number of people choosing ``death with dignity'' in the country. However, many people may not know the details of the system.

This time, we will talk about the background of MAiD legalization, the application conditions, and how to apply.
