This year as well, we will be holding an ``online lecture'' titled ``Calling 911 ~Emergency Preparedness Part II~'' by inviting Mr. Watari Hyodo, an emergency medical technician, as a lecturer.

This year, the third time, we will reaffirm the decision criteria and timing when calling an ambulance, which can be confusing, as well as review how to distinguish between strokes and talk about primary care for less urgent cases. This is a lecture with a lot of content, including anecdotes from the field and information that is hard to hear. The "Patient Information List" handed out every year has also been further updated. Combined with a Japanese-English bilingual medical terminology glossary, it can be used not only in emergencies, but also as a tool to reconfirm past medical history and regular medications.

We look forward to your participation.

Calling 911~Be prepared for emergencies-partII ~

How should you deal with an emergency situation where you suddenly feel unwell, such as ``I have a headache or feel nauseous,'' ``My chest feels like it's tightening,'' or ``My right arm is numb and I can't move.'' What information do doctors and nurses need in emergency medical settings? In order to quickly transport the patient to the emergency ward, it is necessary to convey the necessary information to the paramedics correctly in English. To that end, it is essential to create the "patient information list" that we proposed to everyone last year and the year before. Would you like to prepare together?
